...Dang that's fast

Lordy, we got our site load time to .6 of a second. As the headline says, that's fast.

Well, we have to give a lot of the credit to Wix. They have now implemented server side rendering, which speeds things up no end.

But, we kept our homepage super, super light, keeping images ,and features to a bare minimum.

Wix say you can use images of up to 15mb, and they handle the compression. And that's true, however, we also crunched our images using Permute, which can easily drop a 6mb photo to less than 200k.

We don't go mad on fonts either. Just the one. And the majority of the text is 'light'
