Staying Onboard The Crazy Train

I don't know about you, but our 2018 has started out at record speed!

So far we've taken Wix to 2 European cities with a third just around the corner. We've hosted a very successful content meet up in our home city of Cardiff. We're on the brink of an app launch on a global scale. We've mapped out a host of exciting new product offerings...

...and continued to develop our web design business......

.......................................and working several other apps!

PHEW!

Here's 5 ways that help us to stay focused and not get too overwhelmed:

1) We visualise our goals

'The grand plan' is the title of a shared Google doc thats often recycled! It's important to always be reminded of the end goal or the bigger picture, to validate further why your're doing what your doing now.

2) We make note of EVERYTHING!

When we have one of our brain dumping sessions, we ensure that every eureka moments gets captured and remembered. You don't want to let any of those gems slip away.

3) We make lists

Cliche...yes, but one of the most effective ways to manage a project. Dissect each task into bitesized chunks, write them down, feel that immense pleasure when you cross them off one by one...and ta da, mission complete!

4) We regularly check in with each other

Working independently is pretty much a given nowadays, but the best ideas and flashes of inspiration come from coming together and bouncing ideas back and forth. We rarely have time in our busy days for team meetings, but we see it as a great investment.

5) We reflect on our successes

There's no escaping from the fact that there's always so much to do and such a big mountain ahead to climb, but how often do you stop and think about how far you've come so far this year and what you have a achieved? You'll be surprised by how warm and fuzzy it makes you feel.
